Recently, Chris Borgal was interviewed about the possibilities of preserving the heritage of Goderich following the devastating tornado of August 21, 2011.

The Shops of Summerhill (1099 Yonge Street) and the James Cooper Mansion (28 Linden Street at Sherbourne Street) are nominated in the Low-Scale Buildings in Context and the Tall Buildings in Context categories respectively.

Chris Borgal is currently heading up the efforts to assist the historic town of Goderich with the restoration required following last week’s devastating tornado.

The expanded and restored Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music was not only the venue for this year’s Heritage Toronto Awards, but also a recipient of a William Greer Architectural Conservation and Craftsmanship Award.
