At GBCA, we bring together the skills and commitment to undertake technically demanding restoration work to conserve our cultural heritage, while also striving for the creation of responsible and vital contemporary works which harmonize with their environment.
In addition to our built works, GBCA prepares Planning Studies, Conservation Reports and Strategies, and undertakes the Masterplanning of larger schemes. These works may remain as stand-alone elements, may be used at the initial stage of a built project or during construction.
Philip Goldsmith established Philip Goldsmith & Company Ltd Architects in November of 1994. Christopher Borgal joined the practice in August 2001 and GBCA was founded. Our award winning firm of two Principals, three Associates and 12 Architectural and Support staff are committed to responding to the needs of our clients positively, energetically, and proactively. Our head office is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
